Renee is a WA Early Career Child Health Research Fellow in the Airway Epithelial Research Group at the Wal-yan Respiratory Research Centre as well as the Production Manager of Phage WA. Her research primarily focuses on investigating the potential of combination therapy with phages, existing antimicrobials, and adjuvants to increase treatment efficacy. She is also exploring the interactions between the host immune system and phages. Renee is also developing the production of phages at medicinal grade for therapy. Ultimately, her research aims to combat antimicrobial resistance, maximise therapeutic potential and ultimately improve antimicrobial stewardship.
