Dr Paul Bollyky

Paul Bollyky (pronounced “boy-key”) is originally from Stanford Connecticut. He earned his D.Phil at the University of Oxford, and his M.D. at Harvard Medical School. He completed his residency training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and his Fellowship Training in Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington. Paul joined the Stanford University Medical School faculty in 2013. He is currently the Stanford Medicine Endowed Professor of Infectious Disease and serves as Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine. He is a fellow of the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) and the American Society of Clinical Investigation (ASCI). At Stanford, his lab studies tri-kingdom interactions between bacteriophages, bacteria, and their human hosts.
