Manager Microbiology and Molecular Microbiology, QML Pathology

Emma Wills completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) at Latrobe University in Melbourne and has over 30 years’ experience working in the Pathology industry, working in laboratories in both Australia and the UK. Emma has been the Microbiology Manager at QML Pathology (part of Healius) in Queensland for the past 9 years, where she has overseen the day-to-day operation and ongoing development of the Microbiology department. In 2021 she broadened her scope of responsibility to include Molecular Microbiology, which has exciting opportunities in expanding the testing scope of the laboratory. Emma has a keen interest in project management and has taken part in several National projects for the Healius group.
