ASM VIC 2026 MEETING AWARDS

Best Poster Awards

All Posters will be judged during the Meeting’s Poster Sessions and all attendees who have submitted a poster will be eligible for the following two awards:

Best ECR Poster Presentations
Best Student Poster Presentations

Describe your best experience at #ASM2026 and why would you come back to the annual ASM conference in 100 words.

Submissions will open at the start of the meeting

Winners will receive a certificate, 1-year free ASM membership and have their flashstory published in Microbiology Australia.

The ASM offers a variety of awards to its members including, at a national level, the prestigious Frank Fenner, Lyn Gilbert and Jim Pittard Awards and many more!

Available to teachers are the David White Excellence in Teaching Award, the Cheryl Power Early Career Microbiology Educator Award, USA Teachers’ Travel Award and the Teachers' Travel Award.

Students are encouraged to apply for awards such as the ASM Student Travel Awards and the Summer Research Scholarship which are selected by the Branches of the Society.

Closing Date for applications: 31 March of any year.
