Showcase your work

Have your research and work seen and heard by hundreds of industry peers and colleagues at ASM 2027 in Sydney. This is your opportunity to engage directly with others studying and developing important work in microbiology.

With limited space for oral presentations, be sure to put your best submission forward for peer review.

Criteria

When you submit your abstract for the 2027 ASM you can select one or more of the following criteria:

• ASM Oral Presentation - Provide a slide show presentation to a specialty cohort of attendees in one of the concurrent sessions.

• ASM Poster Presentation - Display your work in the exhibition hall and engage with attendees during one of the dedicated poster sessions.

• CliniCon Oral Presentation - Present to an audience interested in the clinical side of microbiology.

• CliniCon Poster Presentation - Display your work during one of the poster sessions.

Additional Guidelines

• 300 words maximum (excluding title, authors and affiliations)

• Include a title

• Include names of all authors and their affiliations

• Abstracts may be written in unstructured paragraph format or structured with subheadings (i.e. Background, Methods, Results).

• Do not include references

• Use the same email address to log into the system for abstract submission and registration.

• Ensure you click the “Finalise Submission” button on the last page.

• Ensure your profile has your current or preferred email address for communication purposes.

• Ensure your profile is up to date for authorship reference in the program.

• Successful submissions will receive one oral presentation only.
